Don't believe me? Try putting a golf ball across a putting
green. Slopes affect the trajectory of your ball and you always hole due to
some hills that the grass grows on. That is not the experiment. That is only to
prove that my two truths are, without a doubt, absolute fact. Try to argue with
me, and you will find that you cannot.
Here, round heads, is the experiment. Place a billiards
table on a flat surface. Check with a level to ensure maximum spirit level.
Once you have verified that the billiards table is flat, place a singular
billiards ball on top of the table. Mark the exact position of the ball on the
table. Leave the ball and table untouched and free from any outside influence
for a whole week. One important thing to note here is that billiards tables are
specifically designed to provide almost non-existent resistance. Assuming you
executed the experiment correctly, you will find that the pool ball has not
moved a single inch, nay, a single millimeter. If the Earth were round, then
supposedly the pool table should be angled ever so slightly and the pool ball
should have moved due to the slope it was placed on. Alas, it did not move,
which contradicts universal truth #1.
Now, for the second part of the experiment. Grab yourself a
ruler, or a yardstick if you prefer. Mark a perfectly straight line right down
the center of the table, longways. Place a single ball in the center of the
line. Grab a billiards cue. Aim the cue perfectly in the exact center of the
ball, and with precision strike the ball in the absolute exact center, ensuring
that the ball only spins clockwise when viewed from the side and in no other
direction. Assuming that was performed accurately, the ball will perfectly
follow the line all the way to the opposite end of the table, and then bounce
straight back to the starting point. This directly contradicts universal truth
#2. If the Earth really was a sphere, then it would be impossible for an object
to travel in an exact straight line. The natural slope of the Earth would pull
the ball either to the left or the right. Yet, 10 times out of 10, assuming the
experiment is performed properly, you will come up with my results. Round Earth
theory has just been shattered by an actual sphere, in probably the greatest
example of irony in the history of existence
